Yes! SideMemo is currently in Beta and completely free. We plan to introduce a Pro plan for cloud sync features in the future, but local storage features will remain free forever.
Your privacy is our priority. SideMemo uses a "Local-First" architecture, meaning all your notes and screenshots are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Currently, data is stored on the device where it was created. We are actively developing an optional Cloud Sync feature that will allow you to access your notes across different computers safely.
Absolutely. You can copy any note as Markdown formatted text (perfect for Notion or Obsidian), or export as Word/PDF documents directly from the sidebar settings.
